Info for Parents
Are you an attendee too? Check out the convention, you may be surprised at what you’ll find! There’s tons of stuff for parents too. To make sure you have a good time and feel safe, here are some helpful tips:
- Go ahead and see some programming and panels with your kids! Children’s Programming will have specialized activities geared just for kids, but there’s even more to see, with panels, main programming, video gaming, anime viewing rooms, and more. Have some fun!
- There are places to take your kids to eat in the hotel in case you need to, but there are many restaurants and attractions in the surrounding area as well!
- For parents of younger con goers, it may be a good idea to write your cell phone number on the back of their badge in case of emergency.
- For parents who have children with special needs, please talk with the staff and let us know how we can accommodate you. We will do our best to suit your needs!
- Parents, please take note: we do not offer childcare services. Do NOT drop off your kids and leave them unattended. There is a children’s programming area but children must be supervised. Lost children will be directed to the information desk.
- Curfew laws still apply to persons aged 17 and under, unless escorted by a legal guardian.
- Parents will be held responsible for any damage done to hotel or convention property by children.
