FAQs:
Q. Can I bring in a video game or console to play on?
A. You sure can! Just notify the staff and we will be happy to set things up for you. Please keep in mind that if there is a lot of activity (i.e. during a tournament or a busy time of day), we may have to delay your request until a spot is available.
Q. Can I donate something to the game room in exchange for a badge/free admission?
A. This is negotiable. If we are missing key game materials (i.e. games or consoles that we need for a tournament we plan to run), then we can do so after discussing with Convention Operations and Registration. For the most part though, we will not be offering a free badge for games/consoles unless it’s necessary.
Q. An arcade machine ate my quarters! What do I do?
A. Notify a staff member and tell him or her about it. We’ll get one of our arcade vendors to come over and help you right away.
Q. I think I broke something on accident. What do I do?
A. Don’t panic! Just come to the staff table and let us know. We’ll ask you about what happened, write down all the information we need, and take it from there. Accidents happen. We would never want an attendee to feel attacked or accused just because something bad happened.
Q. I want to sign up for a tournament! Where do I go?
A. Go to the staff table and ask for a sign-up sheet for the tournament of your choice. If you have a specific question about tournaments, tournament rules, etc, then ask our tournament director Nick Markey.
