MEET THE DJS
Color Wars (Electro)
Broken up beats and melodic riffs make up the arsenal of sound that Color Wars delivers to the minds of dancers every time he performs.
Chainsaw bass rips through speakers like a spirit gun straight from a demon world, and pulsating synth patches tear through the spectrum
like bursts of energy. Some might say it’s a collage of sonic textures, others would call it pure madness. Color Wars uses his spirit
energy to send rhythmic messages through the turntables and out to the crowds in the form of musical love.
DJ Tylex (Club and House)
DJ Tylex is a fairly new DJ. He grew up in the Waukesha/Milwaukee, WI area. He usually plays anything from techno and trance,
to club and house, to even gaming, and dubstep with some hardcore dance for fun. His style is mixing songs together with some
special beats of his own. DJ Tylex has been with Triforce Rage Events for about a year now and has played gigs in the Southeastern
Wisconsin area from Twin Lakes to Milwaukee He also has played at a few raves such as Rebirth and Hard Kandi 3. DJ Tylex brings a lot
of energy to the crowd when he plays and everyone has an awesome time with the great music.
Words from DJ Tylex: “I am a huge gamer, and otaku. My favorite gaming would be anything from video games to card games, and my
favorite anime would be Gurren Lagann. I have attended Daisho Con, Anime Milwaukee in the past years, and I go to Anime Central (ACen)
every year and always have a great time. AMKE 2013 is the first anime con that I have DJ'd for. It is an amazing honor to be DJ'ing
for such an awesome event held every year in my home city of Milwaukee, WI!”
DJ Kahmahkahzi
DJing out of Kenosha, WI, spinning from multiple genres like Hardstyle, Happy/UK Hardcore and J-Core. AMKE will be DJ Kahmahkahzi's
first Convention he'll be performing at. But don't let that worry you, DJ Kahmahkahzi will still bring the Energy, the Bass, the Happy
of Hardcore and the Darkness of Hardstyle, you will feel the waves hitting you like the powerful Kamehameha.. When you listen to
Kahmahkahzi, he wants you to feel his feelings through the music he plays. He has attended conventions such as ACen, AMKE and Geek.kon,
inspiring him to DJ at one. Kahmahkahzi is very much into anime like Eureka 7, Blood+, Madoka Magica and High School of the Dead. In his
free time he also plays games like BlazBlue, Pokemon and Legend of Zelda. His first gig he did was a failure, he was kicked out not even
minutes after playing, cause his style of music was too different. But he didn't stop there, he was determined to reach for his goal to DJ
for an Anime Convention. Check out his Facebook Page.
DJ Andrew Hilton
Andrew Hilton has the following missions: unity and positivity in the con scene; to share a love for anime and EDM; to destroy weakness
on the dance floor; and to make every rave memorable. Be a part of the fun! Share in the excitement and expect tunes that will carry you
to those emotional highs every raver craves. Andrew is bringing a piece of Cincinnati to Milwaukee and is excited to make memories with
the Anime Milwaukee con-goers.
DJ Scottaconda
A resident DJ for several conventions in the midwest and DJ at several venues in the Chicagoland area, he is most known for his sets at
Anime Central's Soap Bubble. His love for music and conventions make him strive to throw down the best and hardest hitting tracks to banish
the stereotype that geeks have no sense of rhythm, they can't dance, and have no social life. DJ Scottaconda is helping to turn the tables on
when being called a geek was degrading. He says, "I remember when I was teased and called a geek. Now I hear the word geek as it is used
with a sense of pride and a hint of sexy. Geek is such a huge part of popular culture now, I can't help but feel as if I have triumphed
over a huge obstacle. I started with only hopes, dreams, and fears. Now I have worked my way up to center stage where the nay sayers are
now looking up at me and can't even come close to touching me."
