Elite Four Tournament
The main event we hold is the Elite Four Tournament. If you choose to compete you will battle the Elite Four in order to obtain
their badges, but you must act quickly because every Elite four member has a limited amount of badges and once they run out, there
gone. The objective is to obtain more badges than anyone else and in the event of a tie, defeat the remaining trainers! If you forget
the tournament rules below, stop in and ask us!
There will be 4 Elite four members, with 25 badges a piece and they will be given out on a first come first serve basis.
Each battle will be a single 6 on 6 Pokémon battle. Winning a battle against an elite four member will win you a badge. Get more badges than anyone else to win!
Each trainer will have to register their Pokémon with a staff member upon signing up and trainers can only battle with the 6 Pokémon they registered.
Any trainer caught with hacked Pokémon will be automatically disqualified.
Each trainer will get only ONE try for each Elite Four member/trainer battle.
If two or more trainers have the same number of badges, the trainers will battle each other until a winner is decided.
Only Pokémon versions Black, White, Black 2, or White 2 may be used.
In the case of a disconnect, talk to the staff. If the disconnect wasn't intentional or out of the players power, they battle will be restarted. If the disconnect
was intentional or within the player's power, it will count as a loss. Be sure to remember to charge your DS
Wonder launcher items are not allowed.
The following Pokémon and all of their forms are banned.
All of these Pokémon are either banned from official Nintendo tournaments or from Smogon, the largest online competitive Pokémon battling
community, except for Meloetta and Genesect.
The ability Moody is banned.
Blaziken cannot have the ability speed boost.
There cannot be Pokémon with the abilities drizzle and swift swim on the same team.
Any hidden ability not released by Nintendo at the time of the tournament cannot be used. Here's a list of currently available hidden abilities.
Pokémon can only use moves and abilities that they could legitimately know. For example, Venasuar cannot have the ability Chlorophyll and the move
Ingrain because there's no legitimate way of doing so.
One hit KO Clause - Fissure, Horn Drill, Guillotine, and Sheer Cold are banned.
Evasion Clause - Double Team and Minimize are banned.
Sleep Clause - Two or more Pokémon on a team cannot be asleep at the same time. Self-induce sleep via Rest does not activate Sleep Clause.
Self KO Clause - If both players have only one Pokémon left, moves which KO both the user and the opponent are not allowed (e.g. Explosion, Destiny Bond). If recoil damage would cause a tie, Self KO Clause does not activate, and the player who last attacked is the winner.
There will not be a species clause or item clause.
The item soul dew is banned.
Good Luck and Have Fun!
