Food Options

I was wondering is there any good places to eat around the Hyatt Hotel-the prices at the hotel seem abit pricy even their soda last I saw. So anyone know any good cheap places to pick up some grub?

We will have info at the con. But, off the top of my head.... There is a Subway and a George Webb right down the street in walking distance. Directly across the street there is also an Italian restaurant and TWO Thai restaurants. Also down the street, for anyone wanting Japanese food, there is a Benihana's - but that may be a tad expensive for some of our guests.

As far as delivery stuff goes (pizza, Chinese, whatnot) I'm hoping we'll have that info you you guys when you get there!

Yeah that would be good to have delivery food delivered to the hotel than walking. Besides hotel food and stuff at the sourvenir stand are quite pricy.

Although I will buy some sweet strawberry shortcake and goodies at the Maid Cafe. :3 Say will you have any info on the maid cafe's menu and also if they'll be new items maybe.

Dante here, from the Maid Cafe - please see our website for the updated menu! http://www.wix.com/amkemaidcafe/revedetoilecafe

Also, Magi, if you walk down the Skywalk that's connected to the Hyatt you'll come to the Grand Avenue Mall. There's a food court there full of food court-y places to eat at. :) I went there last year~ I also bought some yummy trail mix at the Walgreens there, lol.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention - we should have food info within this year's con booklet (we had it last year) with price ranges and phone numbers for delivery places and everything.

convenience, it is the AMKE way.

Will you be passing out booklets at the con or at UWMilwaukee or so?

I would recommend the George Webb. Good food quick and cheap. Got to meet Doug Walker there last year too!

The BIGNIG420 says you guys should visit the safehouse. It's a spy themed restaurant/nightclub with lots of fun stuff inside.
