Staying at the Hyatt

I had to call main hyatt reservations because I couldn't find my confirmation number but they did; I asked about reserving a frig and it's an extra $25. Was anything negotiated about amenities like that. She also said microwaves aren't available which is a real bummer. I bought popcorn to bring to the video rooms but I need access to a microwave.

On the up side the parking garage has in and out priviledges which is great. Also, the hyatt has valets for an extra $3 which I will be using if the weather is bad and we have to do food runs because of no microwave.

there is a microwave in the cafe/gift shop that is free to use, hope this info helps

Yes, that helps a lot and was what I was hoping for. I'm bringing a hotpot and rice cooker but can't make popcorn with those!!!!

Just letting you know. Food or drink isn't allowed in the programming rooms. A water bottle is fine, but you may be asked to put the food away.

You mean no popcorn in the video rooms don't you? That's OK we'll be watching stuff in our rooms during down time. It's about time I catch up on all those DVDs that haven't been watched yet!

Hello big question...
So I was searching for different cons and I found out about Anime Milwaukee and we are for sure going but I was wondering....Has all the rooms been booked before and if so when does that usually happen?

Nope, we haven't yet booked all the rooms in the Hyatt.

AMKE 2011 was our first year in the Hyatt, so I don't think we were expecting to fill it completely full with our nerdy goodness. Also keep in mind that if you wait to book, the price can only go up.
