Doctor Who and anime go quite well together (not to mention Star Wars, Transformers and Harry Potter too).

I'm working on something else as a surprise for AMKE 2011. Let's just say it'll be "bigger on the inside" (lol Doctor Who...). Hopefully I can finish that as well.

I'm pretty sure you can bring them, but I'm not entirely sure if those rules will be changing or not at all so stay tuned. For now, I'd assume it's ok since they're fake and wood.

Yeah, see I could never make a costume because I can't make stuff. Seriously, I couldn't even cut wood properly. So I'd have to buy my costume, I think.

I wonder myself too when they're going to put the 2011 forums up...

Anyway, I might bring Hinata Hyuga (Naruto Shippuden) back, but in Gakuen style.

Also a possibility of Serrah Farron (FFXIII) and Yoko (Gurren Lagann).

I am coming back to Anime Milwaukee as Kasane Teto next year, and hopefully my friends will be Hatsune Miku and Akita Neru so we can have a Triple Baka group! <33
i will enter in the cosplay contest, too. I just don't know if I should sing, dance, etc. In it.

I will also come a second day, as Noodle, from the virtual band, Gorillaz. I've been planning that cosplay FOREVER!! So hopefully I will start/finish it very soon. I am also thinking of entering into the cosplay contest with the Noodle cosplay...

Idk what days I will be each character, I just know I will be at AMKE on the Saturday and Sunday. (I would go on Friday, but I have school on that day.)

That's cool~! I can't wait to see everyone's cosplays!

Currently, The Joker and Miku Hatsune will be done on Friday and Saturday, I'm not sure If I should just recycle one, or do another. And I'm defiantly am going to enter the contest as Joker, I'm working VERY hard on getting his costume just perfect. I already have the majority of his fabrics and I'm ready to start sewing soon. As for Mikue, I just actually came upon the idea today. I can't wait, I want it to look perfect too.

We can't give you an exact timeframe of when that will happen, but we're working towards that as fast as possible. Sorry for the delay!

I know how exhausting it can be to go to a convention the same day getting off of work or class. For my first ACen, I had final exams and then a concert in the evening with the men's choir I was in at the time. We drove down to Chicago and rolled in at around midnight. I was excited to get out and do stuff but I was just too exhausted from the day to go. I was fine the next day to get into the swing of things but I can relate!

I know, I can't wait either! But so much to do in so little time too.

As far as the weapons policy goes for this year, yes, fake wooden guns are okay to bring. However, they have to have a pink or orange muzzle to be deemed a cosplay prop - rather than something that can look extremely real. The new weapons policy will be up on the webiste once that gets updated - which is in about a week or so, I think.
