Their all good, but I wish there was a panel for the Lorax movie where all Once-lings and lorax movie fans can discuss their love for the movie.

It's mostly up to what people want to run for their panels, since I'd say only around 5% of panels are actually run by staff. If their is something you'd like to see at our convention, the best thing you can do is submit the panel yourself. Or, make a post on the forums telling people your interest in it.

Thanks for putting up the programming guide.

Just some questions. I'm counting possibly 4 panels which may be educational. Strangely you have a LOT of educational panels for the kids rooms but hardly any for adults. The rest is GoH activity or entertainment based panels.

the Ones I am counting:

draw-draw-and nothing but draw
LARP and you
So you want to be a RolePlayer?
Adding Character To You Character (Your Character?)

Looking at the programming. I'm just a little surprised you don't have a "This is your first anime convention" panel for new-comers to come and familiarize themselves with the convention and how to have fun and be safe time. I'm not missing it am I? You do have a lot of new-comers to your convention and it's good for them to have a starting point.

As for me I'm mostly focused on the DIY of fandom.. making costumes, drawing things, story structure and design. So if I'm missing a panel from the list that is true education. I'd be happy to look at it. Like there's a Chris Casons turning the tables. Is that a how-to use VDJ with proper midi-decks and why beat-sync and cross-faders are your friend? I don't really know!

There isn't one, but I can make sure we have one for next year. As for the educational panels, like I stated before, I am very limited in what I can run by what people are willing to run. the most I can do is encourage people to host more of these types of panels next year.

From what I can see for educational panels, or at least what I'd consider educational, theirs:
History of Video games
How To Be An Amateur Voice Actor
Pre-Panel Pastimes (kinda)
So You Want To Be A Role-Player
Anime Trivia (I'm sure you might learn something)
The Psychology Of Neon-Genesis Evangelion (I believe this is being run by a professor)
So You Want Your Own Online Show
Larp And You
Cosplay Photography (all 3 of them)

Their might be more, but these would be the main "educational ones

Also, the "Adding Character to your Character" is a DnD/stage characters panel.

The cosplay photography and voice actor and online panel I missed and I thank you for the correction.

I cannot agree with Anime Triva , Pre-panel pastimes.. And I must certainly cannot agree with the Evangelion panel. I'll be nice and 'll just agree to disagree with you on those.

I only put the evangelion ope because the I'm almost positive the guy running is a psychology professor and I know from what he did last year, he actually tries to make it educational.
