Forums have been reset

Well, after trying to update the forum software and make a modification to the forums to block spam, the forums stopped working.

I had made a backup before I started the modifications, but unfortunately the backup was corrupted and didn't contain any of the user data or forum topic data. To top it off, phpbb seems to have made changes to the underlying database, so previous backups weren't working either.

About the only thing I was able to save were the avatars. All the uploaded avatars from the old forum are now in the avatar gallery for this forum.

Bottom line, the forums had to be completely removed and reinstalled.

Ok, i recreated my profile, now how do I get back into the staff section?

Just recreated my account again. Hurray! But it's not letting me do anything. I was told to PM Conchair to get staff status but since it says I'm new...It's telling me I don't have access to that function yet. -_- *saddness*

So I PMed Froward but I still don't have staff status. :C can someone please add me? Or is it only him who can?

Just tried to send a pm to Froward to update my status and and for some reason when I tried the site said I was not allowed that option since I was a new member.

Lucky you I'm still getting the " I don't have access to that function yet." since I'm a new member after the reactivation.
