The Video game room is making a return for your con-going pleasure. More details will be posted as the information comes.
Rules:
Anyone entering the game room must present their badges to the badger by the door. If you do not have a badge, entry is not permitted
Absolutely no tampering with any of the video game consoles/equipment/etc under any circumstance
Do not touch consoles or any potential housing units. Ask a game room attendant to switch any software out for you. The Game Room staff will decide when to switch out games and what games to switch to but if you have a request, don't be afraid to ask a staff member to change the game for you
Please conduct yourself in a courteous manner. This means: no poor sportsmanship, excessive vulgarity, physical and verbal harassment, etc. Treat everyone with respect and we'll get along fine
If you, by carelessness, cause a video game, console accessory, or video game console to come to harm/no longer function, you will be expected to pay for it
No one under 18 allowed to play M-Rated games without express written or verbal consent of a parent or guardian. If we see an underage badge and you lack a present parent, present guardian, or consent, we'll just ask you to move along
No food or drink is allowed in the game room
Make sure to throw all garbage into the trash. Do not leave it in the room
You may not bring in outside games and equipment without advance permission from the game room staff. If you would like to request a game to play, you may talk to one of the game room supervisors for permission. Outside equipment is strictly prohibited (Ex: Controllers, Headsets, Gaming peripherals) unless requested for tournament use
Personal belongings such as bags or coats are not allowed in the game room. You will be asked to check them at the door or at the AMKE Coat Check room. Any other personal belongings left within the game room are your responsibility. We're not responsible if your items get lost, stolen, or broken
Do not hog a system. If someone has been waiting their turn, pass off the controller if you've been playing for a while. A lot of people are usually in our room and we want everyone to experience the games we have to offer
The Game Room staff has the right to remove anyone from the room at any time for breech of AMKE rules or game room rules. Rules are posted at all times outside the gaming room. By entering the game room, you agree to the rules above
Depending on the severity of the offense, you may be banned from the game room for the remainder of the weekend. (For example: Accidentally broke a Wii wrist strap while playing a game: Accidents happen, we'll warn you to be more careful. Smashing a console with a smuggled in baseball bat: Banned.) It is at staff's discretion to decide the severity of the offense
