No convention can be properly run without volunteers.
We need people to make sure that minors stay out of 18+ panels (badgers), people willing to
run back and forth to make our guests happy (gofors) and people to work the registration table.

Alright, here's the skinny.
It took us a long time to work this out with our venue. Being on the University campus has some great benefits for us (and in turn, you guys) but also brings some challenges.
One of the challenges is that we have a lot of hoops to jump through to give money back to people. If you have already sent in pre-reg and wish to volunteer, we can't refund that. In return, however, you will receive free reg for next year.
The staff of Anime Milwaukee are working hard to find a way around this to be able to give you money, but we can't guarantee that a way around the current situation will be found.
To get free reg, volunteers need to perform 8 or more hours of satisfactory work (Only the Volunteer Coordinator, Convention Coordinator and Vice Coordinator can determine if work done is satisfactory or not). Satisfactory work will be recorded on the con program you are given at the reg table, so it would be a good idea not to lose it.
You need to pay for the badge at the reg table with cash or check and tell the Anime Milwaukee staff person at the reg table that you wish to volunteer. Anime Milwaukee will then store your cash or check in a lockbox and kept in a locked room.
Once you perform 8 or more hours of satisfactory work, bring your program to the Volunteer Coordinator, Convention Coordinator and Vice Coordinator and your reg will be refunded.

Important Panelist Details:
Much like with free volunteer reg, if you have already done pre-reg and signed up for a panel we can't refund that. Instead, you will receive free reg next year.
Even though you are getting free reg, we still need paper documentation. Please download, print and fill out this pdf and bring it with you to the con. Turn it in at the reg table to pick up your badges.
